Regula has now taken over the overall directing for the Circ Bonboni project of 2010 and Michele is be her right hand assistant. Sandra and Tina will continue to support the Circus from Cairo and Switzerland.



Regula Mahler Bashir

- trained dancer and dance teacher, educated at the „Rotterdamse Dansacademie“ Holland
- danced professionally in many different dance companies with choreographers from Switzerland and elsewhere: Fumi Matsuda, Roberto Galvan, Nicole Cacciovio, Bettina Holzhausen, Jean Isaacs, Pat Rincon, Micha Bergese etc.
- worked as a teacher at the Music Conservatory in Berne, at the Teacher’s College of Berne University and in private groups
- choreographer for “Cie Running Out“ and individual projects
- together with Heidi Aemisegger founder of „öff öff productions“, a dance-theater-acrobatics company
- training in air acrobatics
- head and choreographer of many projects for children and young people („STEPS“2000)
- living since 2000 in Dahab, married to Ashraf Saadeldin Bashir, mother of Nura (2002), Salma (2005) and Yassin (2007)



Tina Mandouh

- trained nurse AKP, education in Winterthur
- helped found the women’s choir „Peperoncini“, responsible for organisation and head of choreography and body percussion
- worked on diverse creative projects for children - helped to set up a kindergarten /pre-school in Dahab; music and rhythm lessons
- living since 1999 in Dahab, married to Sayed Mandouh, mother of Samira (2000) and Fatima (2001)



Sandra Späni Abd el Salam

- trained nurse AKP, education in Zug - freelance artist and manager of husband Mamdouh Abd el Salam, Egyptian painter/artistorganisation of 15 joint exhibitions in Switzerland, Moscow and Egypt
- worked on the production of art objects for the “African Soul – Street Art“ shop in Dahab
- helped to set up a kindergarten /pre-school in Dahab; art and handicrafts classes -worked on diverse creative projects for children in Dahab
- living since 1997 in Dahab, married to Mamdouh Ahmed Abd el Salam, mother of Amira (1997) and Omayma (2000)
